LAST WEEKS NEWS, THIS WEEK!

Lax marijuana laws in Hayfork, California forced the players of a high school football team to move their huddles to avoid clouds of pot smoke drifting onto the field during a recent game. Although the outcome of the game wasn’t effected, the team did suffer a setback when fans left the bleachers to run onto the field after the game, and ate the school mascot.

Scientific advances have eased the assignments of U.S. citizens with the increase of ‘drone surveillance’, which allows spies to watch individuals over greater amounts of distance, without risking personal injury. The technology has been most welcomed by paparazzi, who look forward to cutting medical expenses while photographing Britney in her car.

A study estimates that only 2,500 of the 24,000 healthcare practitioners in the state of California have been vaccinated against the H1N1 virus. To be fair, the number is low because many doctors haven’t yet agreed on how long to keep each other waiting when one of them is the patient.
